Advanced MapBuilder

This course builds on the MapBuilder Fundamentals course and focuses on the advanced capabilities needed to create maps with more complex technical requirements. In this course you will learn and practice the following skills:

• Using the JavaScript recordset functions for data element manipulation
• Using regular expressions in JavaScript for complex conditional logic
• Using crosswalk tables and databases for data enrichment
• Using buffers and data views to manage complex map structures
• Configuring maps and XEngine Server routes to integrate data from multiple data sources
• Hands-on labs included

Translation maps are used in many Edifecs implementation projects to support integration between standard healthcare transactions and proprietary or specialized application formats. Effectively designed and implemented maps simplify overall project design and reduce time to delivery

Edifecs MapBuilder training and/or hands-on experience is strongly recommended.
