Am I eligible to enroll for Edifecs Certification?

To be eligible for Edifecs Certifications, you must comply with these 2 parameters:

1. Be 18 years of age or older to take an exam

2. Work for a company that either (a) currently licenses an Edifecs product or (b) provides services to an Edifecs Customer

How do I earn a certification credential?

Your certification credential is based on your successful completion of the required testing, your compliance with this Agreement and the Policies, and your payment of the applicable exam fees.

How do I prepare for my exam?

You should have hands-on experience for the exam topics. It is recommended that you complete Edifecs provided training with hands-on lab exercises prior to the exam. The training is designed to cover all the key functionality and uses with hands on practice. You can choose from Live Virtual or Onsite courses.

Does attending training courses help with certification?

Attending the training courses gives you hands on experience and a thorough knowledge of Edifecs products. We recommend you attend Edifecs training courses before the certification assessment, however it is not mandatory

How do I register for an Edifecs Certification exam?

Click here and fill in your details for the courses/certification that you are interested in.

Edifecs personnel will contact you with payment and registration details.

How are exams administered?

Edifecs certification exams are administered by Kryterion, an independent third-party testing company. The exams are offered using Kryterion's Webassessor™ Online proctoring services that provide a credible, secure and convenient testing option for test takers.

What are the online proctoring requirements from a technology perspective?

Refer to the Test Taker Guide that you can download for online proctoring when you login to www.webassessor.com/edifecs/index.html

How do I schedule the exam?

Once you have received your Welcome Email from Edifecs with your user name/password to access your profile

1. Login to www.webassessor.com/edifecs/index.html

2. Select "Register for an Examination"

3. Choose your exam.

You will be given the option to choose a date/time for your online proctored exam.

Is there preparation I need to do prior to the exam?

You will be required to download Sentinel software to the computer that you will be using to allow for your exam to be delivered in a secure proctored environment.

In addition after you have logged into www.webassessor.com/edifecs/index.html with your user name/password, you must reference the link displayed to "Prepare for your exam" that outlines the hardware/software and webcam requirements for your system.

It is recommended you prepare your computer at least 24 hours in advance of your appointment.

Can I reschedule or cancel my exam?

You are allowed to reschedule your exam up to 24 hours in advance of your exam appointment. To cancel your exam you must contact Edifecs at certification@edifecs.com

How do I pay for an exam?

You can pay for a certification exam by credit card, or you may reach out to an Edifecs contact person and request to be invoiced.

If I get certified and leave my company, does the certification stay with me or my previous company?

We certify individuals who meet the examination criteria. An earned certification is yours to retain.

What happens if I fail?

If you fail, you can retake the exam after a gap of 14 days. Each exam instance incurs a separate fee.

How many exam re-attempts are allowed?

Up to a maximum of three attempts are allowed, with a gap of a minimum of 14 days between each attempt. Each exam instance will incur a separate fee.

How many questions will be there in the exam? What is the testing format?

Please refer to the Exam Guide for specifics about the exams.

When will I receive my score?

Results of the exam will be provided immediately upon completion.

What do I receive after certifying?

On successful certification, you will receive an email with a link to download the e-certificate and logo. You need to comply with the Edifecs Logo Usage Policy that will be shared along with the logo.

What is a re-certification requirement?

Edifecs requires a successful candidate to retake the exam every 2 year to keep their certification active.

How can I learn about the current version of Edifecs products and product upgrades?

Queries regarding product version and upgrades need to be sent to support@edifecs.com.

What can I do if I have a grievance with an exam question?
