National and Local Accolades for Commitment to Corporate Culture and Steady Industry Growth

Innovating for healthcare’s leading insurers and provider organizations, Edifecs fosters community of creativity, collaboration and innovation in the industry

BELLEVUE, Wash. – January 26, 2021 – Edifecs, Inc., a global health information technology solutions company, is the recipient of multiple prestigious industry, national and regional honors for growth, leadership and corporate culture. Edifecs is known for quickly adapting with the healthcare industry and continuously innovating for its healthcare provider and health plan customers, including the majority of the major national health plans and Blue Cross Blue Shield licensees serving 215 million Americans.

2020 has been a humbling and rewarding year for Edifecs. Immediately responding to the COVID-19 pandemic, innovators at Edifecs rushed through adaptions to its claims management software to assist health plans in the analysis of COVID testing claims data and supporting membership with access to testing. Edifecs continues to develop scalable and affordable enterprise-grade technology for health plans, and lead the industry’s transition to interoperability standards and access to patient information.

Amid overnight transitions to a remote workforce, Edifecs doubled down on its focus on the wellbeing and health of its associates and their families through the company-sponsored Wellbeing Center. Edifecs leadership also remained steadfast in its commitment to innovate and grow, as demonstrated by Ravi Soin, Edifecs VP of IT, Cloud, and Operations. Soin was recognized as a Seattle CIO of the Year® for catalyzing the company’s growth through forward-thinking IT initiatives.

Edifecs also closed on a private equity deal with TA Associates and Francisco Partners for a 51% stake in the company. The investment allows Edifecs to empower its customers through the use of innovative solutions to achieve success and continue providing its associates a supportive and world-class company to innovate and grow with. This accomplishment garnered Edifecs’ CEO, Sunny Singh, recognition as Puget Sound Business Journal’s 2020 Dealmaker of the Year, in its program celebrating the outstanding leaders in healthcare around the Puget Sound area.

“2020 has been quite the year for our region, nation and our world,” said Sunny Singh, CEO of Edifecs. “We are so fortunate to have these moments of recognition and honor during a time of so much uncertainty. Our associates have never been so committed to innovation and helping our customers achieve their goals by providing expertise and services dedicated to growing their businesses. The success this company earns is a testament to our associates’ hard work and dedication day in and day out.”
