To help us continue our successful trajectory, Edifecs is looking for a stand-out candidate to join our team as a Regional Account Manager for Federal Health Care sales. This is a direct sales position with quota responsibility. The ideal Regional Account Manager will be an articulate, high energy, self-motivated sales professional with a minimum of 7years’ experience selling enterprise software solutions to the healthcare industry. If a candidate has experience selling B2B, middleware, data transformation solutions, or business intelligence software, that’s a plus.


What you will do:

  • Proactively pursue new revenue opportunities for the federal government in agencies like CMS, Department of Veteran Affairs, Military Health Systems, NIH etc aligning strategy to support Edifecs overarching goals.
  • Build strong customer and partner relationships with Federal government segment decision-makers and influencers while tracking key program initiatives and procurements where Edifecs products can be a fit.
  • Manage complex sales cycles, and direct all aspects of a sales process from initial discovery through contract negotiations and closure.
  • In conjunction with Alliances team, build relationships with third party influencers at management/executive level and help build and solidify the Edifecs partner ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team regarding branding, messaging, trade show management, lead generation and tracking, sales collateral development and other marketing communications activities.
  • Work closely with Professionalservices and product teams to determine customer service requirements and identify new product development opportunities
  • Establish sales processes & standards, create sales tools, monitor compliance with internal processes, etc.
  • Responsible for coordinating with Finance & other company functions for various non-sales operational initiatives such as Billing & Invoice approval process, Edifecs Market Research Initiative, other


What you will bring:

  • Experience working with/within key healthcare focused Federal agencies
  • Understanding of Federal Contracting vehicles applicable to applicable procurements
  • 7+ years of enterprise software solutions sales and/or account management experience with proven prospecting skills
  • 5+ years of Health Care experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in a Federal government selling environment
  • Deep experience in Federal contracting and working with small and large System Integrators on joint bids
  • Experience in establishing new partnerships and managing a partner eco-system for Federal bids
  • The ability to understand client’s business issues and align the value of Edifecs solutions to these issues successfully
  • Outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal skills with excellent attention to details
  • Organized, self-motivated, hard-working problem-solver who is able to work with minimal direction once objectives are clearly stated
  • Computer skills competency including MS-Office suite and SalesForce.com, and strong documentation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Must be able to travel 40 - 70%
