Edifecs releases its popular XEngineTM solution as a web service

Bellevue, WA. October 1, 2007 — Edifecs, the leader in B2B interoperability solutions for Total Quality and Total ComplianceTM today announced the release of its popular validation and conversion tool as a web service for ESB/SOA architecture.

As our customers move toward enterprise service bus (ESB) and service oriented architecture (SOA) for their middleware infrastructure they are looking to incorporate best-of-breed services which can be loosely integrated and re-used without needing to rewrite code. “Edifecs is excited to be at the forefront of such technological shift by offering its core XEngine solution as a web service. With XEngine service incorporated in the ESB/SOA framework our customers will be able to process all kinds of legacy file formats in a cost effective manner” said Sunny Singh, CEO of Edifecs.

With Edifecs XEngine web service API, Edifecs provides a reusable all-in-one adapter for any ESB/SOA platform. With Edifecs XEngine web service API, user can process EDI, positional flat file (including COBOL copy books), delimited flat files, HIPAA, HL7, NSF, UB92, NCPDP (script, batch and telecom) and many more message formats. XEngine web service API supports: asynchronous, synchronous and web service call back mechanisms.

For a limited time Edifecs is providing XEngine web service in a trial hosted environment so that customers can try out the web service API without having to install it locally.
