Edifecs announces SpecBuilderTM and XEngineTM 6.5 along with a Migration Program for New Customers
Bellevue, WA. June 10, 2007 Edifecs, Inc., a leader in B2B interoperability solutions for Total Quality and Total ComplianceTM is pleased to announce the latest release of its market-leading specification authoring, testing and production validation tools, SpecBuilder 6.5 and XEngine 6.5, along with a customer migration program. Both SpecBuilder and XEngine support an extensive list of B2B standards such X12, HIPAA, HL7, NCPDP, NSF, UB , VICS, UN/EDIFACT, RosettaNet, flat file formats, and XML based formats such as XML Schema (XSD).
SpecBuilder and XEngine 6.5 extend to our customers the ability to reduce the cost of B2B implementations, leverage team resources effectively and help ensure that B2B projects are completed on-time. Specification authoring and publishing tools, along with real-time checks and filters on the data entering/exiting an enterprise provide better reassurance for organizations that back-end applications and data warehouses contain accurate transaction data, and throughput for automation is optimized.
New functionality in version 6.5 include:
- Enhanced XML and XSD Support
- Positional and Delimited Flat File Spec Generator
- A new module, MapBuilder
MapBuilder, created in conjunction with customer demand, is an innovative solution allowing document mapping between two specific guidelines. With MapBuilder, migrations between specifications or between B2B platforms will be more efficient and easier to manage.
To celebrate the launch of SpecBuilder 6.5, Edifecs is offering a migration program for current users of competitive products which will allow for the deployment of SpecBuilder at little or no cost. For details, please contact Edifecs at 425-452-0620 or sales@edifecs.com.
