Edifecs Clearly the ‘Tool of Choice’ for CORE Certification

Bellevue, WA. May 3, 2007 — CAQH CORE recently announced a major milestone for entities achieving CORE Phase I certification. As of March 31st nearly 20 organizations, consisting of health plans, providers, vendors and clearinghouses, have achieved CORE certification. Of those organizations that have achieved this goal, 90% chose to conduct their CORE testing using the Edifecs free testing site.

Edifecs was the first approved CORE testing vendor by CAQH and over the last several months has been the testing site for the majority of the industry. The Edifecs CORE testing service allows entities interested in becoming certified by CAQH to perform the requirements necessary to show compliance with all of the CORE Rules. In showing their strong support of the CAQH initiatives, Edifecs provides the certification testing services free of charge to the CORE stakeholders.
