Edifecs Announces Agreement with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina

Bellevue, WA — December 12, 2006: Edifecs, Inc., a leading provider of B2B solutions for transaction-based interoperability, today announced it has entered into an agreement with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (BCBSNC), whereby BCBSNC will deploy EdifecsTM SpecBuilderTM and Ramp ManagerTM products to enhance its Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) partner testing and on-boarding processes for HIPAA and other healthcare transactions.

Edifecs SpecBuilder and Ramp Manager are part of the Edifecs Healthcare SuiteTM, which provides mission-critical solutions for reducing friction in the transaction lifecycle for healthcare and healthcare-affiliated organizations.
