Edifecs Announces New Agreement with Workscape
BELLEVUE, Wash. — July17, 2006: Edifecs, Inc., a leading provider of B2B solutions for transaction-based interoperability, today announced it has entered into an agreement to license Edifecs SpecBuilderTM and XEngineTM software to Marlborough, Mass.-based Workscape, Inc. Workscape is a full-range provider of outsourced benefits and workforce management solutions including outsourced benefits administration, compensation management, performance management, employee self-service and manager self-service, as well as an employee portal. Workscape will use SpecBilder and XEngine to test outbound files for compliance with the ANSI 834 file standard for HIPAA compliance. Automating this process will ensure more efficient file development and greater consistency of data exchange with our clients, partners and healthcare vendors. Edifecs SpecBuilder and XEngine are part of the Edifecs Healthcare SuiteTM, which provides mission-critical solutions for reducing friction in the transaction lifecycle for healthcare and healthcare-affiliated organizations.
