Edifecs Announces New License Agreement with First Data
BELLEVUE, WA May 26, 2006: Edifecs, Inc., the leading provider of B2B solutions for transaction-based
interoperability, today announced it has entered into an agreement to license Edifecs SpecBuilder, XEngine,
Healthcare Transaction Repository (HTR) and Transaction Manager solutions to First Data Healthcare Services,
part of First Data Corp. (NYSE: FDC). First Data, a leader in the electronic commerce and payments industry,
will incorporate these Edifecs products into its healthcare processing system to enable real-time transaction
processing for provider and payer customers.
Edifecs SpecBuilder, XEngine, HTR and Transaction Manager are part of the Edifecs Healthcare Suite, which provides mission-critical solutions
for reducing friction in the transaction lifecycle for healthcare and healthcare-affiliated organizations.
