Edifecs Unveils Significant Enhancements with General Availability Release of SpecBuilder 6.1 and XEngine 6.1

October 14, 2005 -- Edifecs, the leading provider of B2B solutions for transaction-based interoperability, today announced General Availability of its market-leading specification authoring, testing and production validation tools, SpecBuilder 6.1 and XEngine 6.1. Both SpecBuilder and XEngine support an extensive list of EDI standards for healthcare and other industries, including such standards as X12, HIPAA, HL7, NCPDP, NSF, UB , VICS, UN/EDIFACT, RosettaNet, flat file formats, and XML based formats such as XML Schema (XSD).
Edifecs SpecBuilder and XEngine ensure operational interoperability with trading partners by validating healthcare and general industry transactions for syntax, semantics and trading partner specific business rules.
