Edifecs Delivers EDI Adapter for Oracle

Edifecs XEngine provides comprehensive support for EDI and healthcare EDI standards allowing Oracle® BPEL Process Manager users complete EDI processing capabilities

Bellevue, WA. April 15, 2005 -- Edifecs, the proven provider of B2B solutions for transaction-based interoperability, today announced it is an Oracle Business Integration Partner. Edifecs is pleased to be an Oracle Business Integration Partner, providing validation and support for Oracle BPEL Process Manager. The Edifecs EDI adapter, Edifecs XEngine, supports an extensive list of EDI standards for various industries, allowing users to process EDI transactions both natively as well as within the service oriented architectures (SOA’s) environments. Edifecs XEngine’s EDI standards support, includes healthcare EDI standards such as HlPAA, NCPDP, HL7, NSF and UB92.

Edifecs XEngine ensures operational interoperability with trading partners by validating healthcare and general industry transactions for syntax, semantics and trading partner specific business rules. By having real-time checks and filters on the data entering an enterprise, organizations are assured that back-end applications and data warehouses contain accurate transaction data.

Oracle BPEL Process Manager is part of Oracle Business Integration, a comprehensive offering designed to meet the various challenges customers face when integrating enterprise systems and applications while moving to SOAs and enterprise Grid infrastructure. To help customers automate business processes and reduce integration costs, independent software vendors (ISVs) and infrastructure technology providers are leveraging Oracle® BPEL Process Manager to build solutions that deliver SOAs.
