BELLEVUE, Wash. -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- June 16, 2004 -- Edifecs, the proven provider for rapidly deploying and managing trading partner networks, today announced a major upgrade across all products. The products include SpecBuilder 5.5, XEngine 5.5 and CommerceDesk 5.5, all available immediately.

SpecBuilder is the #1 selling authoring tool for EDI and B2B transactions and is now the first and only authoring tool that can handle guidelines for positional flat files formats like IDOC from SAP and UB/NSF in addition to a comprehensive set of EDI and healthcare HIPAA formats. These guidelines are used for automatic data validation and automatic test data generation which makes it easier and faster to test and deploy B2B and application networks.
