Edifecs Announces Support For HIPAA Addenda Across all Products
Payer based trading communities and
covered entities can now test, validate
and certify against the HIPAA Addenda
implementation guides.

the Addenda as follows:

for performing Addenda desktop testing.
Additionally, users can use the SpecBuilder
Migrator module to automatically compare
and migrate their version 4010 companion
guides to the Addenda.

validation of HIPAA data against the
Addenda implementation guides. This
includes verifying compliance of any
custom edits made to accompanying
companion guides.

self-testing against the Addenda and
related companion guides.
Edifecs HIPAADesk now supports free
online testing against the Addenda.
Additionally, the HIPAADesk Resources
Library includes 12 gap analysis reports,
one for each transaction set, providing
a detailed analysis of the differences
between the 4010 implementation guides
and the corresponding Addenda implementation
guides.
