Edifecs5010™ Compliance Online is a web-based service that provides a self-contained environment for full scenario-based data testing, debugging and quality analysis for enabling your HIPAA 5010 migration.
Edifecs5010™ Compliance Online:
- Includes HIPAA 5010 guidelines trusted by the entire healthcare industry which are easy to browse online.
- Allows you to submit your EDI files and test HIPAA 5010 compliance.
- Includes HIPAA 5010 resources and the ability to ask questions to any of our HIPAA 5010 Subject Matter Experts regarding rules and regulations or for gaining more insight into your files and HIPAA 5010 compliance.
What HIPAA 5010 transactions are supported?
All HIPAA 5010 transactions are supported with Edifecs5010™ Compliance Online. You can submit your files to be tested against the following HIPAA 5010 transactions:

Can I test HIPAA 4010A1 files?
No, the service allows you to test only against HIPAA 5010 transactions. No other standards are available. If you need to test against HIPAA 4010A1, NCPDP or HL7 transactions you can use the fee-based version of Compliance Online.
Are there any fees associated with this service?
No. For a limited time Edifecs is offering this service absolutely free of charge (no hidden fees).
Are all the HIPAA requirements being used in the Edifecs5010™ Compliance Online tool?
Yes, Edifecs5010™ Compliance Online uses strict HIPAA rules and WEDI SNIP 1-7.

The HIPAA 5010 initiative is set to change the healthcare industry by increasing the interoperability and decreasing administrative costs. Although HIPAA 5010 transactional compliance is important, we deem this as not as important as being able to interoperate with your partners, process and gain visibility into your transactions and business processes. How do I register for / access the service?
Go to the Login Page on Edifecs.com web site, choose "Edifecs5010™ Compliance Online" service on the left-hand side. If you are registered with us please use the same username and password that you used during the registration process to log in. If you haven't registered with us before, please click on Register.
What are the registration requirements?
You need to provide your contact and company information. Please be sure to provide your company e-mail address. Personal e-mails are not accepted.

Edifecs5010™ Compliance Suite / Compliance Online Registration Instructions
How do I access the Edifecs5010™ Compliance Suite?
Registration is required to access the Edifecs5010™ Compliance Suite. If you haven’t registered with the Edifecs5010™ Compliance Online Service before, please follow the registration instructions below.
You can then login to the Edifecs5010™ Compliance Suite by accessing the Edifecs.com Login page: http://www.edifecs.com/login.jsp and clicking on the Login button for Edifecs5010 Compliance Online.
How do I register for the Edifecs5010™ Compliance Suite?
- While on the Edifecs.com site, click on the Login Page tab on the top right-hand side.
- Choose “Edifecs5010™ Compliance Online” service on the left-hand side and click on the Register button.
- Click Next to start the Account Registration process.
- Check the box assigned for accepting the License and Privacy Agreement and click Next.
- Fill out the registration form and click Next.
- Please provide your current contact information so we may contact you in case of registration issues.
- You must provide a valid company email address. Personal e-mails are not accepted.
- Specify the type of organization you belong to and click Next.
- Enter your company information in the space provided and click Next.
- You will receive an email with a code for confirming your registration. Enter/paste the code into the space provided and complete the Word Verification field. Click Next.
This will complete your request for registering with Edifecs5010™ Compliance Online and start the User verification process.
How do I register for the Edifecs5010™ Compliance Suite?
At Edifecs, we deem it our responsibility to provide the best service to our customers. In order to maintain our quality of service, we carefully screen all the registrants and users of the Edifecs5010TCompliance Suite. Once your registration request is submitted, your information will enter our screening process and we will send you a separate confirmation email within 8 business hours of the time of submission. Successful receipt of this confirmation email will indicate that you have full access to all the features of Edifecs5010™ Compliance Suite.
How do I login to the Edifecs5010™ Compliance Suite?
- While on the Edifecs.com site, click on the Login Page tab on the top right-hand side.
- Choose “Edifecs5010™ Compliance Online” service on the left-hand side.
- Enter your login credentials and click on the Login button.
