Jamie Gier leads Corporate Marketing at Edifecs and is responsible for brand strategy, public relations, analyst relations, corporate events, and online communities. She has built a 15-year career marketing healthcare technologies, including enterprise EMRs, data aggregation solutions, and decision support software. She has extensive experience working with healthcare organizations ranging from physician practices to large health systems, as well as other industry stakeholders across the healthcare spectrum.

Prior to joining Edifecs, Jamie held executive level positions building and managing brands at Microsoft, GE Healthcare, IDX Systems Corporation and several private healthcare and medical device companies. She also served as co-lead on marketing integration for two major industry acquisitions, including GE/IDX and Microsoft/Sentillion.

Jamie graduated Summa Cum Laude from Washington State University with a bachelor’s degree in Communication.

Shahab Alam is a business-savvy human resource executive with more than 20 years of international experience in successfully aligning HR initiatives with business growth strategies for large global corporations and small, rapidly growing technology firms. At Edifecs, he is responsible for driving organizational change, facilitating the company’s business expansion via comprehensive talent acquisition programs, and ensuring Edifecs remains a preferred employer in each of its locations worldwide.

Previously, Shahab was vice president of Human Resources for International Operations and Sales at Oracle Financial Services Software. While at Oracle, he successfully led multiple initiatives that significantly improved employee engagement, streamlined recruiting efforts, and shifted the organization’s culture to a more client-centric focus. Prior to Oracle, Shahab served in a series of increasingly responsible global HR roles for companies such as TCG Software and Silverline Technologies.

Shahab earned dual master’s degrees in Human Resource Management and Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from Rutgers University and the Tata Institute of Social Science in India, respectively.

As vice president of client services, Venkat leads a global team committed to helping organizations implement Edifecs solutions and drive their businesses forward. Since joining Edifecs in 2009, Venkat has been leading implementation, support and training teams with focus on strengthening service offerings, enabling best-in class client experience and forming strategic partnerships with implementation partners.

Venkat has more than 15 years of experience in leading professional services teams. Prior to Edifecs, he held positions at Wipro and MAQ Software in various delivery leadership and program management roles.

Venkat graduated in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Osmania University, Hyderabad-India and graduated with an MBA from Indian Institute of Management - Lucknow. Venkat is a certified PMP and has a certificate in advanced program management from Stanford University.

Vik brings more than a decade of healthcare , supply chain and integration experience in both product management and engineering. He is responsible for product management and strategy at Edifecs. Prior to his current role at Edifecs, Vik served as Senior Director of Product Management for the Edifecs Unified Compliance product line.

Prior to joining Edifecs, Vik created and managed large scale EDI & integration systems at Microsoft and Con-way Transportation.

Vik holds a dual-undergraduate degree in Information Technology and Finance from Portland State University and an MBA from the University of Portland.

Sam Muppalla is an entrepreneurial executive with a 20-year track record of developing sound business strategy and driving financially successful execution. At Edifecs, he is responsible for bringing the company’s healthcare information management solutions to market and envisioning Edifecs’ long-term strategy.

Sam joined Edifecs from McKesson Health Solutions, where he served as vice president of Portfolio Integration and led development of the company’s cross product portfolio strategy. He was previously the CSMO and COO of Portico Systems, which was successfully acquired by McKesson Health Systems. In those roles, Sam helped Portico Systems grow to be the undisputed market leader in Integrated Provider Management.

He has also held senior leadership roles with Comcast Commercial Services, Broadnet Europe and Deloitte Consulting.

Kerry Waltrip is a 22-year healthcare IT sales veteran, having most recently served as the senior vice president of Sales for M*Modal. At Edifecs, he is responsible for driving revenue from healthcare payer and provider customers.

Previously, as the senior vice president of Sales for the Management Decision Support organization at Thomson Reuters, Kerry managed a national sales team and was a member of the Executive Committee, overseeing all sales functions, from new solution rollouts to contract negotiations. After assisting in the integration of SoftMed Systems into 3M Health Information Systems during the two companies’ merger in 2007, Kerry continued at 3M, driving health information automation services into international markets, where he trained and supported the local staff through all levels of a sale.

As the senior director of product development, Viren leads the design, development and delivery of the Edifecs products and solutions. Since joining the company in 1998, Viren has been instrumental in building and managing an enterprise-class engineering team.

Viren holds a Masters in Computer Science from Regional Engineering College, Warangal, India.
